The electoral battle ahead of the Delhi assembly polls is being fought on social media. There has erupted an emphatic “poster-and-video war” between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
Through filmy titles and songs, the BJP and AAP have been constantly attacking each other. With the announcement of polling dates in the national capital, the political heat is reaching new heights.
The BJP, which has been facing a political exile in Delhi for the past 26 years, is attempting every possible trick to woo voters. Sharing a latest video, the BJP targeted the AAP Chief and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
The saffron party trained its guns on the former AAP CM over his old remarks about “not purchasing a bungalow” and “living like a common man”.
Meanwhile, the AAP is no behind in the electoral battle with the rival BJP. Releasing a poster, the AAP called senior BJP leaders – including Amit Shah, JP Nadda and its MLA candidate Ramesh Bidhuri, “Galibaaz Danav”.
Sharing a post on ‘X’, the AAP accused the BJP leaders of using foul language in election campaigns and attempting to mislead the people of Delhi. “BJP ke gaalibaaz danav se door rahein”, the post was captioned.
The ruling AAP has also took a jibe at the BJP over the non-declaration of its Chief Ministerial face. Sharing a video on ‘X’, “Mota Bhai cannot find BJP’s groom even after searching with binoculars”.
The Delhi assembly polls are scheduled to be held on February 5, with the vote counting set for February 8.
