Police are investigating a suspicious blaze that broke out at West Leederville Primary School earlier this week.
Between 6.30pm on Monday and 6.30am on Tuesday, Wembley Police have alleged an unknown person attempted to break into a building at the school on Northwood Street.
Police claim the person went on to set fire to various parts of the playground, damaged a water fountain and moved outdoor furniture at the premises.
The investigation is continuing.
