Man was given a Rs. 10K fine for using drinking water to wash a substance.

Hyderabad: On May 27, a man was fined Rs. 10,000 for using drinking water from the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board ( HMWSSB ) to clean the premises of a furniture store.

While passing over Road No. 1, Water Board Managing Director Ashok Reddy noticed the man was sweeping the Orange Tree Furniture Shop’s grounds. 12, Banjara Hills, according to a transfer.

The MD has advised the public to refrain from using the water board’s drinking water for different reasons and that ideal action would be taken if anyone was discovered doing so.
