Scooter Braun thinks Spencer Pratt is speaking “common sense” amid his mayoral campaign.

The 42-year-old reality TV star launched his bid to become Los Angeles’ next mayor earlier this year, and Scooter has now voiced his support for Spencer, observing that voters “want people to speak plainly and address certain things”.

During an appearance on the Second Thought podcast, Scooter – who is dating movie star Sydney Sweeney – explained: “What I really do appreciate about what Spencer’s doing is he is bringing a lot of things to light that no one’s brought to light.

“I think he’s speaking for a lot of people who are very frustrated and want common sense and want people to speak plainly and address certain things. It’s very interesting to watch.”

Meanwhile, Spencer recently claimed that he will leave Los Angeles if he isn’t elected the city’s new mayor.

The reality TV star vowed to pursue “the last American dream” in another US state if he isn’t successful in his bid to become the city’s next mayor.

Spencer – who has been an outspoken critic of his political rivals over recent months – told comedian Adam Carolla: “If Karen Bass gets re-elected, or Nithya [Raman] gets elected, I will be done with trying to live in Los Angeles.”

In 2025, Spencer and Heidi Montag, his wife, filed a lawsuit against the city of Los Angeles and the Department of Water and Power (LADWP) after their home was destroyed in the Pacific Palisades fire.

Spencer is determined to win his legal case, but admits that he might look to rebuild his life in another state.

The reality TV star – who has been married to Heidi since 2008 – explained: “I’ll take that money from the [Gov. Gavin] Newsom state park and the LADWP, and I’ll go find somewhere that my kids will not have to see naked zombies and I can have the last American dream somewhere.

“I will not rebuild if these people are in charge. Because what would I be putting money into?”
