Ahead of the release of Alpha, Bobby Deol has dismissed rumours claiming that he had a fallout with co-star Alia Bhatt on the film’s set. The actor said there was no truth to the reports and described Alia as one of his “favourite” actors.
Speaking during his appearance on Aap Ki Adalat, Bobby said he first came to know about the rumour when a friend sent him a snapshot of it. He also addressed claims linked to the report, including that he was so upset that Aditya Chopra offered him another film.

Reacting to the rumours, Bobby said, “Even I was shocked when a friend sent me a snapshot of this rumour. Log itne velle hain ki kuch bhi likhke bana dete hain (People have so much free time that they make up and write anything).”
Bobby added that he had just wrapped Animal alongside Ranbir Kapoor when he got the offer for Alpha. He said he was thrilled to join the film and work with Alia Bhatt, calling Ranbir and Alia two of his favourite actors in the industry.
The 57-year-old actor also spoke fondly about his experience of working with Alia and praised her dedication and preparation for the film.
Sharing his thoughts on his co-star, he said, “It was so nice (working with Alia), she is such a good actress and works so hard. I didn’t get why people wrote that. And then they even wrote that Bobby was so miffed that Aditya Chopra offered him another film.”
He further said that a large portion of the content circulating on Instagram is inaccurate, and reiterated that there was no truth to the rumours surrounding him and Alia.
