Pregnancy rumours swirled around actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu after videos of her celebrating the early response to Maa Inti Bangaaram with husband, filmmaker Raj Nidimoru surfaced on social media on Saturday. Fans focused on her appearance in the clips and speculated that she might be expecting. Neither Samantha nor Raj has commented on the speculation so far.
The videos showed Samantha cutting a cake with Raj as the film received its initial response from audiences. However, the online conversation quickly shifted to her appearance, with several social media users speculating about a possible baby bump.

In the clips, Samantha is seen wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans, while Raj wears a brown button-down shirt over a black round-neck T-shirt with jeans and a cap. Soon after the videos were shared online, fans began reacting in the comments section.
One of the fans commented, “She is pregnant..congratulations sam (sic).” A second fan said, “Yes it’s a baby bump congratulations Samantha (sic).” A third user said, “Congratulations sam super baby bump (sic)”. A fourth user said, “It surely looks like a baby bump (sic).” Another commented, “She is really fit that’s why it is a baby bump (sic).”
Earlier appearance before release
Before the film’s release, Samantha and Raj visited the Tirumala temple with the film’s team to offer prayers. A video from the visit also went viral on social media and showed Raj pulling Samantha close and shielding her as they moved through a crowd of fans after exiting the temple premises.
The couple was joined by the film’s team at the Lord Balaji temple, where they drew a large crowd of devotees. In the clip, Raj is seen keeping an arm around Samantha while members of their team helped clear a path through the crowd.
The moment drew attention online because Raj has largely kept his personal life away from the spotlight and is rarely seen displaying affection in public. It also came shortly after a promotional event where he playfully refused to say “I love you” to Samantha.
Samantha and Raj got married on December 1, 2025, in an intimate ceremony in Coimbatore. Samantha later shared glimpses from their wedding on Instagram. The two first worked together on The Family Man 2.
About the film
Maa Inti Bangaaram is a family action-comedy directed by Nandini Reddy and marks Samantha’s reunion with the filmmaker after Oh! Baby (2019). The screenplay has been written by Raj Nidimoru and Vasanth Maringanti.
The film was released in theatres on June 19. It also stars Gulshan Devaiah, Diganth Manchale, Gautami Tadimalla, Sreemukhi, Manjusha and Srinivas Gavireddy in pivotal roles.
According to trade website Sacnilk, the film collected Rs 5.35 crore nett in India on its opening day, while its India gross collection stood at about Rs 6.20 crore, including taxes. The film was screened across 2,658 shows nationwide. The overseas market added another Rs 4.50 crore gross, taking the film’s worldwide gross collection to Rs 10.70 crore on Day 1.
