Mother and live-in companion are being held in Hyderabad to promote children’s brands.

Hyderabad: On Tuesday, June 23, a girl was detained from the Nandigama neighborhood for allegedly torturing her kids and her live-in partner.

According to a report in the Telangana Now, Pinki Devi, a Bihar local, and her husband Sujeet immigrated to Hyderabad about three years ago. Sujeet left the house because Devi started a partnership with Chandu Kumar, who was also named Devi.

Devi and her three children were living in the same house until Chandu Kumar moved in. The pair reportedly tortured Devi’s six-year-old child and four-year-old son over the course of three months, even going so far as to brand them with a warm iron.

The neighbors barged into Devi’s residence on Tuesday after hearing the wounded children’s constant cries from the house. The pair reportedly received thrashed by citizens before being turned over to Shadnagar Police.
