A young Australian woman is missing in America after failing to board her flight back home.
Sally Grace Contarino, a 26-year-old woman from Melbourne, disappeared while holidaying in the United States, with her family desperately trying to gather information about her whereabouts.
She last contacted her family on June 20 — just one day before she was due to fly back to Australia — but has not been seen or heard from since.
It is believed Ms Contarino may have been in the California or Nevada areas prior to her disappearance.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has opened a missing persons case, with officers issuing a flyer asking for the public’s assistance in the search for the Aussie.
Ms Contarino is described as being of slim build with fair skin, brown hair and brown eyes.
Her family is seeking information on her welfare and location.
The last photo Ms Contarino shared on her trip was taken at Mount Charleston, a small mountainous town 60km east of Las Vegas.

Hospitals across the Nevada area have been asked to check their records in case Ms Contarino has been admitted.
Police have not released any information relating to the circumstances of her disappearance.
Anyone with information on Sally Contarino or her whereabouts is strongly urged to contact Las Vegas Metropolitan Police
The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade declined to comment citing the family’s request for privacy.
The Nightly has contacted the Las Vegas Police for comment.
