Uri Geller is convinced science can explain the existence of ghosts.
The 79-year-old illusionist has revealed he believes in supernatural spirits but he’s convinced hauntings can be easily explained because famed physicist Albert Einstein gave humanity all the answers 120 years ago when he published his most famous formula.
When asked if he believes in ghosts, Uri told the Daily Star newspaper: “Of course, I believe in ghosts. Albert Einstein proved with the equation E equals mc squared, that everything in the world and beyond is made from energy.
“He continued explaining that energy cannot be destroyed. The question is, what happens when we die? If we are made from energy, you can’t destroy energy, so we go up there and we become ghosts.”
As well as believing in ghosts, Uri is also convinced aliens exist and he’s claimed to have seen the frozen bodies of deceased creatures 50 years ago.
He told the publication: “I saw the bodies of aliens 50 years ago. The person who took me to see the aliens, believe it or not, is Dr Wernher von Braun, the Nazi German scientist …
“He took me out to the parking lot, we arrived at a concrete building and we went down a few flights to the base of the building. There, inside a huge refrigerator as big as my museum, I saw bodies of aliens lying in glass tubes, totally frozen.
“Many of them were injured, so of course I believe in aliens. Look what’s coming out now from Donald Trump, who I’ve known for over 50 years.”
Uri has previously given his thoughts on the release of declassified UFO files by the government of US President Donald Trump insisting the document dump is actually part of a much bigger plan designed to awaken humanity’s hidden powers.
The world-famous psychic believes the growing number of government disclosures surrounding Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena, also known as UAPs, is not simply about revealing alien encounters, but about preparing the public for what he describes as a “reality-shattering” truth about human consciousness itself.
The documents, published on the Department of War’s website, allegedly contain hundreds of photographs, videos and witness reports involving unexplained aerial objects. The revelations have sparked fresh debate online, with conspiracy theorists, UFO enthusiasts and sceptics all dissecting the material.
However, Geller insists the release is only the beginning. Taking to X, the psychic suggested governments are slowly introducing the public to the existence of UFOs through what he called a “carefully managed drip, drip process”.
He explained: “For decades governments denied UFOs existed. Pilots were mocked. Witnesses were ridiculed. Evidence was buried.
“Yet now, suddenly, they want to put their hands up and admit they are real?”
Geller hinted there may be forces beyond government control pushing world leaders toward transparency. He added: “Perhaps because it is now out of their hands and the clock is ticking down to a deadline they have been given!”
The 78-year-old entertainer, who rose to fame in the 1970s with claims of psychic abilities including spoon bending and telepathy, believes the true secret being hidden has less to do with extraterrestrials and more to do with the untapped capabilities of the human mind.
He stated: “What if these intelligences are not simply ‘visitors’ from another planet… but catalysts helping humanity evolve psychologically and spiritually?”
