Today’s the day, folks! After yesterday’s rehearsal dinner, it’s all but confirmed that Taylor Swift is taking her magnetic force of a man – Travis Kelce – to be her lawfully wedded lover from RIGHT NOW at New York City’s Madison Square Garden.
According to the New York Times, today’s purported 1000-guest event has a no-phone policy for all vendors, security and guests.
Judging from the fact we got absolutely zero glimpse inside the 100-guest rehearsal dinner at the arena’s Infosys Theatre on Thursday (Friday AEST) – and from an Associated Press photo showing a check-in station with the instructions “HAVE IDENTIFICATION OUT” and “HAVE DEVICES READY” – it’s unlikely we’ll see anything from the couple’s nuptials that they don’t want us looking at.
But that doesn’t mean they won’t share anything with us, or that fans and reporters on the ground in The Big Apple won’t have updates from outside the venue.

Author and activist Glennon Doyle has turned to one of Catherine, Princess of Wales’s favourite designers for her wedding fit. Entering the wedding venue on the arm of her wife, former US soccer player Abby Wambach, Doyle is wearing an embellished ice blue gown from the British luxury label Jenny Packham.
The dress is currently available on e-boutique Farfetch for a cool $8314.
Wambach opted for a dapper approach to the rumoured black tie dress code in a tuxedo with a white waistcoat and brooch substituting for an actual tie.
It appears that Taylor Swift’s friends like Australian label Zimmermann just as much as the bride-to-be. Havana singer Camila Cabello has posted her Luna Lace Billow Gown in fuchsia from the Australian label’s spring 2026 collection, Kindred Spirit to social media, en route to the wedding.
In May, Swift wore Zimmermann’s Luna corset mini-dress to a dinner in London.
Cabello and Swift have been close friends since meeting at an MTV Video Music Awards party in 2014.
Singer Sombr has revealed his wedding fit on social media. The 21-year-old is wearing a suit by Japanese designer Kyosuke Kunimoto, ditching the rumoured black tie dress code to don a white shirt with a pie crust collar, for the Madison Square Garden festivities.
Last month Sombr performed two of Swift’s songs, Cardigan and Dear John, at her induction into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
“His writing is so exceptional that it makes me actually envious, and I love that feeling — he’s gonna be the top of my Spotify Wrapped this year guaranteed, it’s locked, it’s in the bag,” Swift said. “A lot of my late night debates with my friends about the state of the music industry involve me saying very loudly, ‘Sombr is the future and he does it all on his own and he doesn’t need AI. The kids are fine.’”

The low-key arrivals were a rare treat for onlookers, who so far have been standing behind barricades near the arena, for hours in a blistering heatwave, with nothing but SUVs with blacked-out windows to glimpse at.
Police have shutdown the streets near and around Madison Square Garden, allowing access only to those working the event or attending as guests. It’s believed about 500 vehicles, transporting most of the purported 1000 guests, will be allowed through the blockade.
As reported by The New York Times’ Aruni Soni, confidentiality is another unique issue that’s typical for celebrities to address in a prenup.
Confidentiality clauses prevent couples from talking about the details of their marriage or divorce. But Ziegler Law Group founding partner Vikki Ziegler said she would ask for a carve-out in that clause for Swift.
“I would probably do an exception tied to her work as a songwriter because, literally, her art is her business,” she said.
“That’s what makes her wealth,” Ziegler added. “She talks about love and about heartbreak. I would probably be excluding anything that she says about him in the confidentiality clause in the prenup.”
When Swift and Kelce say “I do”, they’re not just sealing a union between themselves with a kiss – they’re merging two enormous, lucrative brands.
Following her $US2 billion ($2.9 billion) box office blockbuster Eras Tour, Swift’s estimated net worth is $US2.1 billion ($3.04 billion). She also has an extensive property portfolio stretching from New York, to Tennessee, Rhode Island and California.
Kelce, meanwhile, has an estimated net worth of $US70 million ($101 million) to $US90 million ($130 million), amassed through his NFL contract, brand partnerships, New Heights podcast, and more.
It’s safe to say a lot is at stake. As reported by The New York Times writer Aruni Soni, a prenuptial agreement would clarify what would happen to their finances in the event of a divorce, helping them avoid a messy, public split.
As with the Met Gala, paparazzi are lying in wait outside nearby hotels, hoping to catch a glimpse of high-profilers who may be heading to the top secret nuptials.
Swift’s longtime best friend Abigail Anderson has been spotted leaving the Ritz-Carlton. Actors Bradley Cooper – who is dating Swift’s other longtime friend Gigi Hadid – and Dakota Johnson have also been snapped leaving their hotels, as has LA Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford.
Meanwhile, on the Associated Press livestream, a crowd is singing Love Story outside Madison Square Garden and cheering as guests arrive on foot. At the time of writing, 5165 people are watching the livestream.
