Jey Uso and his wife Takecia Fatu are getting a divorce.

The WWE superstar’s wife has filed for divorce after 12 years of marriage, claiming that their relationship is “irretrievably broken”.

According to TMZ, court records show that Takecia filed to end their marriage on June 24 in Fayette County, Georgia.

The documents list their date of marriage as February 13, 2014.

In the filing, Takecia wrote that “there are no prospects for a reconciliation”, adding that they are “presently living in a bona fide state of separation”.

She has requested primary physical and joint legal custody of their teenage son Jeyce, as well as a “lump sum and/or periodic alimony” from Jey, whose real name is Joshua Fatu.

Takecia has also asked for “exclusive use and possession” of their mansion in Georgia, while she wants his assets to be equally divided.

The wrestler, 40, first met his now ex as high school sweethearts in 9th grade at Escambia High School in Florida.

Jey would follow in the footsteps of his father, WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi, and made his wrestling debut in 2007 alongside his twin brother Jimmy Uso.

As The Usos, the siblings have gone onto become one of the most decorated tag teams in WWE history.

In 2020, Jey described Takecia as his “more than my tag partner, she’s my life partner”.

Speaking in a WWE Chronicle Documentary, he said: “I have so much love and respect for her in my heart… She catches the good and the bad, all the hurt and grumpiness of this business and life.

“But she gets me ready for this, every single week, and she has for the past 10 years. We’ve sacrificed together.

“All my success is her success, too. We’ve done this together.”

Jey is yet to comment publicly on the news, but following TMZ’s report, he did make a cryptic post on social media.

Taking to his Instagram Story, the wrestler simply wrote: “I’m a grown a** man.”

Since making his WWE debut in 2010, he has become one of the company’s most popular stars, winning nine tag team championships with twin Jimmy, plus two with CodY Rhodes.

He’s also a former Intercontinental Champion, and won the 2025 Royal Rumble before beating GUNTHER to capture the World Heavyweight Title a few months later at WrestleMania 41.
