Perth’s CBD has been given an AC Milan makeover, with a new mural unveiled on St Georges Terrace to celebrate the clubs’ three-year partnership with Western Australia.
The artwork, created in a poster-inspired style, was revealed by AC Milan’s Principal Partner Emirates ahead of the club’s clash with Inter Milan at Optus Stadium last night.
The mural, located at 18 St Georges Terrace, has AC Milan captain and goalkeeper Mike Maignan, defender Matteo Gabbia and new signing Mario Gila, set against Perth’s skyline, Optus Stadium and an Emirates aircraft forming the backdrop.
Milan signed an agreement in 2024 to visit WA for a post-season friendly against AS Roma at Optus Stadium that May. The club later extended its partnership, returning in July 2025 playing against Perth Glory.
The mural will remain on display throughout August, bringing the Rossoneri colours to one of the city’s busiest areas, where fans and visitors will see it every day in the Central Business District.
With the slogan “From Milan to Perth”, the artwork celebrates AC Milan’s return to Western Australia for a third consecutive pre-season tour after previous matches against Roma in 2024 and Perth Glory in 2025.
