Actor-turned-host Salman Khan is back to helm Bigg Boss 20, promising housemates a powerful “vardaan” (boon) in the newly released second promo, which offers a intriguing glimpse into this season’s grand theme.
In the new teaser, released by JioHotstar and Colors TV on their Instagram handles, Salman is seen standing in the middle of an area as an audience cheers for him. Dressed in a black sleeveless jacket with matching trousers.

In the promo, he says, “Is baar Bigg Boss me sabhi gharwalon ko milega ek vardaan (This time all housemates will receive a boon). Tathastu meri jaan (So be it, my dear) (sic).”
The caption read, “What’s the boon? Take a guess, sweetheart.. #BiggBoss Starts 6th September on #JioHotstar and @colorstv (sic).”
An earlier teaser of Bigg Boss 20, gave a glimpse of Salman’s return as host and hinted at a mystery that could shape the new edition. The promo showed Salman making a striking entry alongside a horse. He then delivers a cryptic line that references his 1995 film Karan Arjun.
“Jo Karan Arjun mein hua tha, woh hoga ab Bigg Boss mein… Thathastu!” Salman says in the teaser. Teasing the upcoming edition, Salman in a statement revealed that while every season of Bigg Boss introduces fresh dynamics and unexpected twists, Season 20 will be anchored by an overarching mystery.
He said, “Every season of Bigg Boss brings a fresh game, new dynamics and unexpected twists. But this season, there’s a mystery at the heart of it that makes it unlike anything we’ve seen before.”
He added that the first clue has already been revealed in the teaser and asked viewers to look at it closely.
“The first hint is already out there, you just have to look at it twice. The teaser is just the beginning, and I can’t wait for audiences to start piecing the clues together when Bigg Boss Hindi Season 20 begins,” Salman said.
The previous season of Bigg Boss was won by actor Gaurav Khanna, while actor Farrhana Bhatt was declared the first runner-up.
The contestants list for Bigg Boss 20 is yet to be officially announced.
