Aaron Rodgers is “savouring” the final season of his NFL career.
The 42-year-old sports star has had a hugely successful career in the NFL and he’s enjoying his latest pre-season training camp – but he has no intention of playing again next year.
Aaron told CBS Sports: “This is definitely — there’s no 99.9, this is 100 percent the end.”
The Pittsburgh Steelers star is determined to enjoye what he has left of his sports career.
He said: “I am savouring it, but it doesn’t have a charged feeling to me.”
Despite this, Aaron insists he’s not “overly nostalgic or dramatic about” his last season in the NFL.
He shared: “There’s none of that going on. I’m just enjoying my time with the guys.”
Meanwhile, Aaron recently opened up about his personal life, explaining how his wife has helped him to reconnect with his estranged family.
The sports star was previously embroiled in a years-long estrangement from his family, who accused Aaron of deliberately distancing himself from them – but the NFL star admits that his wife, Brittani, played a huge role in their recent reunion.
Aaron – who married Brittani in 2025 – said on Good Morning Football: “A big part of it was getting married and having those conversations with my wife that allowed me to kind of open up to the possibility of coming together.
“It’s been a couple-year process now, the conversations with them.”
Aaron has relished reuniting with his parents, Darla and Ed Rodgers, and his older brother, Luke Rodgers.
Aaron – who has previously dated the likes of Olivia Munn, Danica Patrick and Shailene Woodley – shared: “I’ve been very closed off about that part of my life, and I want to keep it that way.
“But there’s been a narrative that’s gone on for too long that I kind of wanted to shut down, and it’s been really beautiful to reconnect with them, all of them.”
