Potentially dangerous smoke was being blown from a house fire in Willetton as parts of Perth were being battered by rain and winds on Monday night.
The structure fire erupted at a residential duplex on Condor Circle around 6pm.
The department of fire and emergency services warned potentially dangerous smoke was being blown from the burning property.
“There is a fire in a residential duplex resulting in potentially dangerous smoke being blown over nearby residences,” they said in an emergency WA advice alert.
“There is no direct threat to lives or homes.”
Nearby resident are urged to shut windows and doors to avoid inhaling smoke.
It is understood firefighters had contained the blaze by 7pm. The cause of the fire is unknown.
