Hyderabad: On Monday, August 10, Telangana’s chief minister, Sanjay Jaju, along with senior state officials, convened a video conference with state secretary to explain the Center’s proposed” Reform Utsav” effort.
According to an official statement, the Cabinet Secretary informed the claims that the Reform Utsav action would be launched in October to put more emphasis on member involvement in the transformation process. The program aims to make sure that the voices and suggestions of the citizens are identified, considered, converted into practical reforms, and put into action through a committed roadmap.
The implementation of the program will take three phases. The preparation period, which will take place from August to September this year, may concentrate on developing the leadership framework, conducting awareness campaigns, and conducting surveys.
Three aspects may be present in the main Reform Utsav cycle, which will last from October to December. States to establish cooperation panel
The Cabinet Secretary emphasized the need for the position and central governments to actively participate in the program. A State Coordinative Committee headed by the Chief Secretary may be established at the state level, along with a nomination of a State Nodal Officer to integrate application, according to the declaration. Nodal plans will also be made at the district levels.
The implementation of the initiative will primarily be handled by the relevant state line ministries and departments. Additionally, the Center will launch a dedicated Reform Utsav portal, which will be accessible in regional languages, to facilitate citizen participation, collection of suggestions, and monitoring and coordination of reform-related activities.
The Telangana government stated that the necessary steps would be taken to establish the necessary coordination mechanism through the relevant departments and field-level authorities in order for the initiative to be effectively implemented.
