Dylan Sprouse has admitted he feels like a “bad brother” for only visiting twin Cole on the set of Riverdale once.

Cole starred as Jughead Jones on the TV show from 2017 to 2023, but Dylan admitted during an episode of his Wildmen podcast that he regrets not popping along to the set more to see his sibling at work.

He said: “I visited once in the entirety of Cole being there. It was partly me being a bad brother. I had my own s*** going on.”

However, he clarified that the set visit wasn’t the only time he saw Cole during Riverdale’s run.
Dylan added: “He also came to LA. It wasn’t like I saw him once in six years.”

He also said that Cole hadn’t had the best things to say about Vancouver, Canada, when he tried to get Dylan to visit.

He explained: “He asked me, he was like, ‘Why don’t you visit more often?’ I’m like, ‘You realise the only things you’ve ever told me about Vancouver is that you step over a river of needles to get to work?’

“I was like, ‘Dude, you’re not making me want to jump out of my seat to get over there!” And then [he’s] like, ‘Yeah, I got a 12-hour, 14-hour shift coming up, and you can stay in the needle den with me.’

“I’m like, ‘I don’t want to go. I don’t want to go. You know where I want to go? I want to go back to California.’”

Dylan and Cole shot to fame as the stars of Disney Channel show The Suite Life of Zack Cody, after which Cole studied archeology at New York University (NYU) before going on to land his Riverdale role.

Meanwhile, Dylan also studied at NYU – getting a degree in video game design – and was last seen on screen in 2025 movie Under Fire.

On another episode of the Wildmen podcast, Dylan opened up about potentially teaming up with Cole once again in a future screen role.

He mused: “We’re totally not averse to working together again. I don’t think we’ll be working as twins ever again, like cast in a role.

“But I think we both would be fine working together, whatever that means.”
