A group of boys have been arrested after the home of a Scots College teen accused of being involved in the alleged sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl was allegedly egged.
Three teenage boys have been charged after a 14-year-old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted in an alleyway in Sydney’s eastern suburbs on July 22.
The boys all attend the prestigious Scots College, one of the city’s oldest boarding schools which racks up annual tuition fees of more than $50,000 per year.
Two of the boys, aged 14 and 13, were charged with aggravated sexual assault in company of others and two counts of aggravated sexual touching of another person.
The other 14-year-old was charged with aggravated sexual assault and a single count of aggravated sexual touching of another person.
The three boys remain before the courts.
The home of one of the boys was allegedly targeted on Sunday afternoon, with five boys arrested after police received reports that eggs had been thrown at the house.
All of the boys, aged between 13 and 17, were taken to Surry Hills Police Station.
Four of them were released without charge, while a 17-year-old boy was charged with allegedly breaching bail and custody of a knife in a public place.
He is due to front a children’s court on Monday.
