For Varun Dhawan, the biggest achievement of his life is not linked to a film set but to a farm. On Wednesday, the actor announced that he had bought a farm, sharing a video from the property where he marked the moment with chai and biscuits.
In the clip, the 39-year-old is seen standing on the farm and speaking directly to the camera. He described the purchase as a major personal milestone and said that being there in the weather with chai and biscuits felt “unbelievable”.

Sharing the reel, Varun captioned the post, “I bought a farm.” In the video, he said, “Okay, so guys, I want to share some news with you. This is the biggest achievement of my life. Maine khet liya hai. Yeh khet. I have taken this, and don’t ask me why, but to just stand here and have my chai and biscuit in this weather is unbelievable. Unbelievable.”
The post received a warm response from fans and other social media users. One Instagram user wrote, “Thank you! Promoting healthy lifestyle (sic)”. Another commented, “this kinda flexx>>>>> (sic)”. A third user wrote, “Village ki feeling alag hi hoti hai (The village vibe is something else entirely). (sic).”

His recent films
Varun Dhawan was last seen in Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, which was released in June.
India Today gave the film 2.5 stars. A part of the review read, “Starring Varun Dhawan, Mrunal Thakur and Pooja Hegde, the film often resembles a desperate attempt to recreate a very specific kind of 90s Bollywood hero: part Salman Khan, part Govinda, and entirely fabricated.”
“Varun adopts the familiar nonchalance, exaggerated body language, quirky line delivery and cartoonish energy that once powered Dhawan’s biggest hits. But instead of feeling effortless, everything feels rehearsed. You can almost see the director standing behind the camera asking for ‘more Salman from the 90s’ every few minutes,” it added.
Before that, he was seen in Sunny Deol-starrer Border 2.
