Former Neighbours star Scarlet Vas has announced she’s expecting her second child with stepbrother and husband Tayo Ricci.
The pair initially met as teenagers, and dated later as adults before becoming stepsiblings through their respective parents’ romance.
After marrying in 2023 on the Greek Island of Mykonos, Vas, 31, and Ricci, 29, welcomed their daughter Silva in late 2024.
On Wednesday, dressed in matching white T-shirts and denim jeans, the loved up couple revealed the actress was pregnant once more in a cute teaser video.
“We couldn’t keep this a secret any longer . . .,” they captioned an Instagram post.
The pair later followed it up with a carousel of images, with their bub in tow, raising ultrasound images to the sky.
“The doctor called. Apparently we’re having another baby,” the couple confirmed.
Vas and Ricci have been together for more than 11 years and stress they are not biologically related.
“We were about 13 years old when we first met through mutual friends,” Vas told news.com.au in November 2024.
“Our families knew each other and they introduced us, I guess you could say. So, we’ve known each other for a very long time.”
However, aware their romance might sound odd, Vas said they choose not to be affected by any negative online feedback they receive.
“I don’t really read our comments section but if I do, I actually laugh. We find trolls very entertaining. If something’s really negative, we might comment back, we find it is quite a good disarming tactic,” she added.
Ricci is a content creator and musician, while Vas had switched to modelling on OnlyFans in recent years after enjoying a stint on Neighbours between 2017 and 2018 playing police officer Mishti Sharma.
The mother has previously admitted she earns $200,000 per month on the adults only platform, but insisted she’s “not a porn star”.
“There’s a bad stigma attached to OnlyFans now but it is unfortunate because we get tarnished with the same brush,” she said.
“But I am not a porn star of any kind.”
