An woman has died after she was found injured inside a Melbourne home.
Police were called to a property on Ferntree Gully Rd in Melbourne’s southeast and found the injured woman just before 10am on Friday.
Officers performed CPR, but she could not be saved and died at the scene.
A Ferntree Gully man, 45, was arrested nearby is being questioned by police.
Police believe the pair are known to each other.
Homicide Squad detectives are at the home examining the scene.
