The teaser of the upcoming action-comedy film Vibe was unveiled on Friday, setting up a story with Kunal Kemmu, Sparsh Shrivastava and Preity G Zinta in lead roles. The film follows two ordinary friends who suddenly find themselves in a dangerous situation and are pushed into a mission to protect the country.
Kemmu plays Hardik and Shrivastava plays Bugs, with the teaser presenting them as unlikely heroes who are neither trained nor prepared for what lies ahead. As events spiral, they are pulled into a crisis much bigger than they expected, with the film blending action, comedy and chaos. Preity appears in a key role as a confident woman who seems to be leading the mission.

The teaser introduces Hardik and Bugs as two men who are forced into a role they are not ready for. They step into a mission they have not been trained for, and the visuals show them trying to handle the situation around them as the stakes grow more serious.
Preity is shown as a central figure in Vibe. Her character appears to be in charge of the operation and is seen directing Hardik and Bugs as they are drawn deeper into it.
Cast and release details
Vibe is written and directed by Kunal Kemmu and produced by Kemmu and Chirag Nihalani under Drongo Films. The cast also includes debutant Vanshika Dhir, along with Dinesh Lal Yadav and Yashpal Sharma in pivotal roles. The Amazon MGM Studios film is scheduled to release in theatres on September 18.
Kemmu’s last released feature film as a director was the comedy-thriller Madgaon Express, which released on March 22, 2024. He also recently hosted Alliance, a reality show where 16 contestants are divided into four teams and compete in challenges that test strategy and social skills.
Meanwhile, Preity is currently seen in Batwara 1947, which stars Sunny Deol in the lead role. Directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and produced under Aamir Khan Productions, the film also features Shabana Azmi, Karan Deol, Ali Fazal and Abhimanyu Singh in key roles. Set during the 1947 Partition, Batwara 1947 follows a family whose lives change as violence, fear and forced migration affect communities that had lived together.
