A hip-hop, rock and pop festival is set to bring a blockbuster lineup of Aussie music talent to Perth’s northern suburbs this spring.
Castaway Festival will bring Hilltop Hoods, Violent Soho, Amy Shark, Playlunch, Trials, Lyric and WA’s homegrown triplet band Birdland to stages around the country this year.
All the fun will kick off in WA at Whitfords Nodes Park in Hillarys on November 21 before heading to the Mornington Racecourse in Victoria on December 12.
Fans in Wollongong will have to wait three months before the festival makes its way to Stuart Park on March 20 next year.
Hip-hop royalty Hilltop Hoods are set to bring the energy with their catalogue of era-defining anthems including The Nosebleed Section, Cosby Sweater and 1955.
The Adelaide trio are also sure to perform crowd favourites from their latest album Fall From The Light, released in November 2025.
Meanwhile, Brisbane rock heavyweights Violent Soho will have fans head-banging along to their raucous sound, and Amy Shark will bring her emotional and fun pop songs for the celebration of Aussie music.
Shark has just released her new album Soft Pop, and the festival will serve as one of the first places to hear her new tunes live.
“I’m a huge fan of Hilltop Hoods and Violent Soho; I was more than happy to join the boys on the road,” Shark said.
“I don’t think you could get a better lineup. Hip-hop, rock and pop – I can’t wait.”
Supporting band Playlunch said they are “stoked” to join the “stacked lineup of incredible acts”.
“We’ve had the craziest 18 months and touring select markets with this festival is going to be insane,” they said.
“We’re such big fans of all the acts on the bill and are fresh from our overseas touring of the US, UK and Europe. It’s going to be so nice being back on our home turf and kicking off festival season with the biggest party in town.”
Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday at 12pm, with artist, promoter and Telstra Plus presales kicking off from Wednesday at 11am.
