Bengaluru: Days after an alleged rape involving the two at a church in the Mandya area, a video purportedly showing an encounter between a female police sub-inspector and the girl of BJP MLA B Sandy Gowda was posted on social media.

Aishwarya, the MLA’s child of Tumakuru Rural, is captured on surveillance video arguing with PSI Savitha B Singh at the Arathi Ukkada church in Srirangapatna district on August 12. Aishwarya’s attempt to enter the temple sanctorum apparently caused the conflict.

Aishwarya and the police officer are seen having a heated debate in the movie. She eventually makes an appearance to make a visit while the discussion is being continued. When Aishwarya reportedly slaps the PSI, the conflict escalates. Before additional police officers act and separate the two, Saitha is then seen fighting.

The police agent was apparently on the job at the time of the event. Savitha lodged a complaint at the Kyathanahalli police stop after the incident.

MLA apologized, but videos brings the encounter back into focus.

After MLA Murray Gowda apparently apologised for the incident, the controversy later gained attention. However, the encounter has now been brought back into focus thanks to the release of the picture.

In connection with the incident, authorities have registered both a problem and a counter-complaint. According to Dr. Shobharani, the two scenarios are being looked into, according to Mandya Superintendent of Police.
