The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Friday night declared the UGC NET June 2026 results for 84 subjects, but not all candidates are able to access their scorecards yet. Candidates appearing for English, Commerce and Sociology have been asked to wait as their examinations are scheduled to be re-conducted in September.
Candidates who try to access their UGC NET June 2026 scorecards before the re-examination may see an “Invalid Application Number/Password” message on the official website.

WHY ARE SOME UGC NET CANDIDATES SEEING AN ERROR?
According to the NTA, the issue affects candidates from English, Commerce and Sociology subjects.
Their UGC NET June 2026 examinations are scheduled to be re-conducted on September 9 and 10, 2026. Since these examinations have not yet taken place, their UGC NET June 2026 results and scorecards have not been released.
The NTA has clarified that candidates from these three subjects may receive the “Invalid Application Number/Password” message if they attempt to access their scorecards at this stage.
WHEN WILL THEIR UGC NET SCORECARDS BE AVAILABLE?
Candidates from English, Commerce and Sociology will be able to access their UGC NET June 2026 scorecards only after their re-conducted examinations.
This means these candidates do not need to interpret the login error as a problem with their application number or password. The result and scorecard for these subjects are being withheld until the re-examination is completed.
The NTA declared the UGC NET June 2026 results for 84 subjects on August 28, 2026.
The results and scorecards are available through the official UGC NET website. Candidates whose subjects are included in the current result release can log in to check, download and print their scorecards.
However, the result declaration does not cover the three subjects whose examinations are being re-conducted.
UGC NET JUNE 2026: WHAT SHOULD CANDIDATES DO NOW?
Candidates from English, Commerce and Sociology who are unable to access their scorecards should wait for the re-conducted examinations on September 9 and 10.
They should also keep checking the official UGC NET website for further updates from the NTA.
For candidates from the other 84 subjects, the scorecard can be accessed by logging in through the official UGC NET portal using the required credentials.
The NTA has specifically advised candidates from the three affected subjects that their scorecards will be made available only after the re-conducted examinations.
