An IndiGo flight from Goa to Delhi made an emergency landing at the Goa airport on Tuesday after reporting a failure in one of its engines mid-air, prompting Air Traffic Control to declare a full emergency, sources said.
IndiGo flight 6E 2102 departed from Goa at 9:16 am and was later routed back to the airport for a safe landing after the engine failure was reported. The aircraft flew back to Goa as a precaution, sources said.

Data from aviation tracker Flightradar24 showed the aircraft turning back towards Goa from over the coast of southern Maharashtra. It was flying at an altitude of around 14,000 feet when it began returning to the airport.
ATC declared a full emergency around 9:30 am as the aircraft headed back to Goa. The incident led to an emergency landing at Goa’s Mopa airport, according to sources.
Further details about the nature of the engine failure and the condition of passengers and crew were not immediately available.
