A woman stole an ambulance and crashed it into another vehicle after an Avenged Sevenfold and Good Charlotte gig in Arizona.
Grace Vicente, 24, was reportedly seen getting into the emergency vehicle outside Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre in Phoenix at around 11pm on Thursday, August 27.
Police were called after the ambulance was driven a short distance before smashing into another vehicle.
Vicente was detained at the scene and later charged with DUI and theft of a vehicle.
The ambulance had been parked outside the venue after being called to provide medical cover for the concert.
The keys were reportedly left inside when paramedics stepped away from the vehicle.
The driver of the car involved in the collision was taken to hospital, but their injuries were not life-threatening.
Vicente’s lawyer told local outlet AZFamily that she had travelled to Arizona for the concert and described the alleged incident as “completely out of her normal nature”.
The bizarre incident came as Avenged Sevenfold and Good Charlotte were on their co-headline tour, which began in Missouri on July 25.
The bands played shows across the US before wrapping up the run in Los Angeles on Sunday, August 30.
It is not clear why Vicente allegedly entered the ambulance or whether she intended to drive it before the crash.
The case remains ongoing.
