Kelly Osbourne thinks she looked like the “f****** Crypt Keeper” when she was at her thinnest while mourning the death of father Ozzy.
The 41-year-old daughter of the Black Sabbath star sparked concern with her slender figure following Ozzy’s passing in July 2025.
But in a new interview with the Mail on Sunday newspaper, Kelly admitted she was completely unaware how slim she had become until she saw pictures of herself in a loose-fitting dress on the red carpet for the Grammy Awards in February (26).
Comparing herself to a ghoulish character from the Tales from the Crypt horror TV show franchise, Kelly sighed: “I looked like the f****** Crypt Keeper.
“I said, ‘This is scary. I didn’t know I looked like this’. My spine — you could see every single bone. I couldn’t see what other people saw because I was in so much pain. I just saw a broken person.”
In a bid to detract attention from her weight, Kelly wore a wig to cover up her face as much as possible, “so you couldn’t see how skinny my cheekbones really were”.
She also credited her stylists for helping her choose an outfit that wouldn’t highlight her petite frame.
Kelly added: “They knew I was going through something. So, we were trying to find clothes to not make me look skinnier.”
At the Grammys, Post Malone led a tribute to the late rocker, as he performed a version of Black Sabbath’s War Pigs alongside Slash and Chad Smith.
Kelly joined mother Sharon and brother Jack at the awards, but admitted: “I was scared. I wanted to be there to support my mom and to pay tribute to my father’s legacy, [but] I don’t think I should have gone. I wasn’t very well…
“You’re filled with so much pain that the feeling of hunger can’t even pop up.”
Kelly has credited her three-year-old son Sidney for helping her rebuild herself following Ozzy’s death, but added to the newspaper that she’s also done her best to shield her little boy from seeing her upset.
She said: “Whenever he walked in the room, something would come over me, and I’d snap into Miss Fun Mom. I didn’t cry in front of him.
“I always made sure that he was not exposed to inappropriate sorrow.”
