Bigg Boss 20 opened with friction on Day 1 in Episode 2 as Mahhi Vij’s attempts to get others to help with tea and luggage sparked complaints in the house, while a separate clash between Qazi Tauqeer and Yung DSA quickly escalated. The first episode also saw Kanika Mann receive a special power, use it against Qazi, and push him out of the captaincy race.

The episode moved rapidly from small disagreements to larger confrontations. Mahhi’s remarks annoyed several housemates, Qazi and Arishfa Khan had a heated exchange over how she was being treated in the house, and the day closed with a cake task moderated by Qazi after his removal from the captaincy race.
The tension began when Mahhi received her luggage and asked Aman Gandhi to help her. Aman objected to the way she spoke to him and asked her to say “please”, but Mahhi refused.
She later asked Isha Rikhi if she could make tea and said, “She is a girl, so she must know how to make tea.” Soon after, Mahhi, who was sitting in the garden area, saw Arishfa Khan relaxing and instructed her to go to the kitchen. Arishfa replied that she could not make tea.
In Mahhi’s absence, Isha told other housemates that Mahhi had been giving orders about making tea. She wondered whether Mahhi would next ask her co-contestants to wash her dirty undergarments on the show. Arishfa also told Aman that she was getting “off” vibes from Mahhi.
Qazi and Yung DSA clash
A major argument also broke out between Qazi Tauqeer and Yung DSA. The two exchanged angry words, and the fight escalated further when their family members were dragged into the argument.
During the confrontation, Qazi accused Yung of trying to create a rift between him and Arishfa Khan. The exchange quickly drew attention in the house as tensions rose on the very first day.
Special power changes captaincy race
Kanika Mann received a special power from Bigg Boss on Day 1 and used it to name the one contestant she did not like. She chose Qazi, and Bigg Boss removed him from the captaincy race.
Arishfa and Qazi argue, GenZ anthem follows
Arishfa and Qazi later got into a heated argument of their own. During the exchange, Arishfa urged Qazi and the others not to treat her like a child, saying she is Gen Z. The moment also led to the creation of a GenZ anthem inside the house.
Couple talk and cake task
At the same time, several contestants speculated about who might become a couple in the coming days, with Gullu and Kanika emerging as the main suspects.
The episode ended with the contestants taking part in a cake task. As Qazi was already out of the captaincy race, he was given the responsibility of moderating the task.
