The wait is almost over for Perth fashion lovers with one of Australia’s most talked-about labels set to open the doors of its first WA store.

Melbourne-born fashion label Henne, co-founded by Nadia Bartel, has confirmed it is heading west with its first Perth boutique set to open at Claremont Quarter on Saturday.

“Perth, we’re on our way,” the official Henne Instagram page posted.

“Save the Date for our Claremont Boutique opening, next Saturday 19th September at 9.00am.

“Claremont Quarter, 9 Bayview Terrace, Claremont, WA. Stay tuned for exciting updates for opening weekend.”

While the announcement may have only just landed, Perth has been firmly on Henne’s radar for sometime.

Bartel previously spoke about the brand’s plans to expand its bricks-and-mortar footprint beyond Melbourne and Sydney, revealing that opening more stores around Australia was a major focus for the business.

The fashion entrepreneur later singled out Perth as one of the cities Henne was hoping to move into, alongside Adelaide and Brisbane.

The Claremont Quarter opening will give Perth shoppers the chance to browse the brand’s latest releases and try on its cult-favourite collections in person.

Henne was founded in 2019 by Bartel, her sister Michelle Ring and their friend Laura Broque.

The brand’s name comes from the Swedish word for “her”, with its founders describing the label as a mix of Nordic sensibility, Italian expression and an effortless Australian approach to dressing.

Customers will also have the option to book complimentary styling appointments at the boutique, with the service covering everything from finding the right denim fit through to a full wardrobe refresh.
