Two teenage boys were taken to hospital after falling off the dam wall at a popular swimming spot in Brisbane’s north.

The teens fell into the water at Enoggera Reservoir just after 6pm on Sunday, one from 15 metres and the other from 10 metres.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesperson said the boys were out of the water by the time paramedics arrived.

Both boys sustained leg injuries and were taken to the Queensland Children’s Hospital.

The boys were part of a group gathered near the wall, which, while not close to the main swimming area, is a common place for people to jump off into the water.

The reservoir was a popular place to be this weekend, with school holidays starting and both weekend days soaring to temperatures higher than 30 degrees.
