A young woman has died in a devastating car crash involving a truck on Monday.
The 20-year-old’s Hyundai Veloster collided with a white Iveco truck at the intersection of Pinjar Rd and Yandella Pr in Tapping, a suburb of Perth’s north, about 6.45am.
She suffered critical injuries and was rushed to Joondalup Health Campus where she died.
The male driver of the truck, 26, was not injured.
The tragedy comes after 7NEWS previously revealed WA’s road toll is the state’s deadliest in almost two decades.
So far in 2026, 154 deaths have been recorded.
