Isaac Heeney’s fiancée has made another telling change to her Instagram, just days after quietly deleting the pair’s engagement announcement.
Steffie Waters has rearranged a number of carousel posts on her Instagram profile so images and videos featuring the Sydney Swans star no longer appear as the lead image on her grid.
The change means Heeney has effectively disappeared from the landing page of his fiancée’s Instagram account at first glance.
However, numerous photos and videos of the 30-year-old remain on Waters’ profile and can still be seen by scrolling through individual carousel posts.
The latest social media update comes after Waters deleted an October 2025 post celebrating the couple’s engagement.
The post featured Waters showing off her engagement ring alongside Heeney and was captioned: “Happy 30th birthday to this boy. Can’t wait to be your wife.”
Other photos, including holiday pictures of the couple remained on her account following the deletion.
The changes have fuelled further speculation about the couple’s relationship following the scandal engulfing Heeney and the Sydney Swans.
Waters was spotted in Noosa last month without her engagement ring.
Waters’ Instagram account continues to contain plenty of evidence of their relationship once users look beyond the landing page.
A carousel originally posted on June 29 contains several photos and videos of the pair together, including footage of them laughing while reading fortune cookie messages and images from Crown Sydney.
However, Heeney no longer features as the lead image currently displayed on Waters’ grid.
Heeney, Chad Warner, Nick Blakey, James Jordon and Riley Bice were suspended for the remainder of the 2026 AFL season after the club found they had breached behavioural standards during a night out on August 17.
Four players have been interviewed by Victoria Police as part of an ongoing investigation into reports of alleged sexual assault relating to the night.
Bice has been cleared of any criminal wrongdoing and no charges have been laid.
Victoria Police previously said investigators had identified all parties who were inside the hotel room connected to the allegations.
The latest change to Waters’ social media comes as Heeney prepares to return to the club on Wednesday, alongside suspended teammates, for the first time since the scandal erupted.
