Uttar Pradesh is set to showcase products ranging from its traditional One District One Product (ODOP) offerings to electric vehicles, electronics and defence equipment to global buyers as the fourth edition of the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS) 2026 begins in Greater Noida on Friday.
The five-day trade show, being held from September 25 to 29 at the India Expo Centre & Mart, is expected to bring together more than 2,400 exhibitors, international buyers, investors and business delegations as the state seeks to expand its export footprint. The 2026 edition will have Austria, Belarus, Japan, Russia, Singapore and Vietnam as partner countries.

The event is being held under the theme “UP for Global Growth: Innovation, Manufacturing and Exports”, with a focus on connecting businesses in the state with overseas buyers and investment opportunities.
FROM TRADITIONAL PRODUCTS TO NEW-AGE SECTORS
More than 27 sectors are expected to be represented at the trade show.
These include ODOP products and MSMEs, along with electronics and IT, defence and aerospace, pharmaceuticals, electric vehicles, agriculture, food processing, textiles, leather, renewable energy, tourism and startups.
The mix reflects the state’s effort to showcase both its traditional manufacturing base and newer industries to international markets.
The trade show will also feature business-to-business meetings, country sessions and sector-specific discussions, allowing participating companies to explore sourcing, investment and technology partnerships.
SIX COUNTRIES TO PARTICIPATE
The international component of UPITS 2026 will feature six partner countries: Austria, Belarus, Japan, Russia, Singapore and Vietnam.
Foreign delegations are expected to include government officials, trade representatives and business leaders. The programme includes country pavilions and B2B interactions with businesses from Uttar Pradesh.
The participation of five countries, Austria, Japan, Russia, Singapore and Vietnam, is proposed to include 36 exhibitors and around 100 buyers, according to the state government’s plans. Belarus is participating separately as a partner country.
OVER 550 INTERNATIONAL BUYERS EXPECTED
The Uttar Pradesh government expects more than 550 international buyers from 85 countries to attend the trade show. Overall, the event is expected to attract 1.5 lakh B2B buyers and 4.5 lakh B2C visitors, besides more than 2,400 exhibitors.
Interest from buyers has already been recorded ahead of the event. As of September 18, more than 45,000 domestic B2B buyers had registered, while around 1,500 international buyers had registered. More than 500 international buyers had been shortlisted and tickets for over 300 had been secured, according to government data.
The state is also targeting more than 4,000 MoUs, with proposed agreements worth over Rs 3,200 crore, while business enquiries are expected to cross Rs 13,500 crore.
BUILDING ON 2025 EDITION
The latest edition comes after a larger international turnout at UPITS 2025. The third edition had 2,228 exhibitors, 525 international buyers from 85 countries, 1,40,735 domestic B2B buyers and 3,66,364 B2C visitors.
It generated business enquiries exceeding Rs 11,200 crore, while more than 2,400 MoUs worth Rs 1,882 crore were signed.
With this year’s event, the state is seeking to widen the reach of its products beyond domestic markets by using the trade show to connect local manufacturers, exporters and MSMEs with international buyers and potential investors.
The five-day event will run at the India Expo Centre & Mart in Greater Noida from September 25 to 29.
