A man was arrested in Indore after he allegedly assaulted a food delivery worker following an argument over a food order that he claimed had arrived cold, police said.
The incident took place in the Ranibagh area, where the accused had ordered food online. According to police, a delivery executive arrived at the man’s residence with the order, after which an argument broke out over the temperature of the food.

Police said the accused was allegedly under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident and began arguing with the delivery worker. The dispute escalated, and the man allegedly assaulted the delivery executive.
Following the incident, the delivery worker approached Bhanwarkuan police station and lodged a complaint.
Acting on the complaint, police summoned the accused and later arrested him. Officials said legal action has been initiated, including preventive proceedings against the accused.
During the investigation, some delivery personnel told police that the accused had allegedly been involved in similar disputes with delivery workers in the past, often over food-related issues. Police are now gathering details about any previous complaints linked to him.
The accused remains in custody, and further investigation is underway.
