Sarah Ferguson has denied rumours she’s in negotiations to write her own “tell all” autobiography.
It was reported this week the 66-year-old former Duchess of York was “days away” from signing a seven-figure deal to work on a book, with a chapter-by-chapter synopsis covering potential subjects including her ex Andrew, Jeffrey Epstein, King Charles III, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
A source had told The Sun: “Sarah wants to set the record straight about everything and earn some money to resolve her financial issues.
“There has been a secret bidding war and a deal is close to being secured.”
However, a spokesperson for the former duchess has denied the claims, insisting there has been “no discussions” of a book deal.
The representative added: “She is not writing a personal memoir.”
The rumoured book would have been Ferguson’s latest attempt to tell her own story after publishing My Story in 1996 and Finding Sarah: A Duchess’s Journey to Find Herself in 2011.
It has been a difficult few months for Ferguson, who has faced renewed attention over her past association with Jeffrey Epstein, the late convicted sex offender, due to the release of documents relating to Epstein.
There is no suggestion Ferguson has committed a criminal offence in relation to her friendship with the predator.
Her former husband Andrew, 66, remains the subject of a Thames Valley police investigation into alleged misconduct in public office following material released under the US Epstein Files Transparency Act.
