Nani’s recently released film, The Paradise, continued its steady run at the box office despite receiving mixed reactions from audiences. The Srikanth Odela-directed action drama grossed Rs 138.25 crore worldwide in four days despite negative talk since its premiere on September 23. The film recorded a marginal rise in its India nett collection on Sunday, taking its four-day total to Rs 92.10 crore.

The Paradise earned Rs 15.70 crore nett in India on Day 4, Sunday, from 6,764 shows, as per trade website Sacnilk’s report. The film recorded an overall occupancy of 35.7 per cent. Its Sunday collection was 3 per cent higher than Saturday, when it earned Rs 15.25 crore nett from 6,889 shows at an occupancy of 33.4 per cent.
The film’s India gross collection has now reached Rs 109 crore. It added Rs 2 crore from overseas markets on Day 4, taking its cumulative overseas gross to Rs 29.25 crore. With the India gross at Rs 109 crore, the film’s worldwide gross stands at Rs 138.25 crore.

The Telugu version continued to drive the film’s box office performance. It collected Rs 13.60 crore nett from 3,560 shows on Sunday, recording 49 per cent occupancy. The Hindi version contributed Rs 1.90 crore from 2,803 shows at 21 per cent occupancy, while the Tamil version earned Rs 20 lakh from 401 shows, also recording 21 per cent occupancy.
The Paradise opening weekend figures
The Paradise had a strong start with its Day 0 collection of Rs 11.60 crore from 900 shows on September 23, with 79 per cent occupancy. On its first day, September 24, the film earned Rs 34.65 crore nett from 9,732 shows, recording 49.3 per cent occupancy.
The film’s collections dipped to Rs 14.90 crore on Friday, followed by Rs 15.25 crore on Saturday. Sunday brought a marginal improvement, with the film adding Rs 15.70 crore. Its four-day India nett collection now stands at Rs 92.10 crore.
Andhra Pradesh and Telangana remained the biggest contributors to the film’s Day 4 gross, accounting for Rs 14 crore. Karnataka contributed Rs 1.42 crore, while Tamil Nadu added Rs 50 lakh. Kerala contributed Rs 8 lakh and the rest of India accounted for Rs 2.50 crore, taking the reported state-wise gross to Rs 18.50 crore.

Directed by Srikanth Odela, The Paradise stars Nani, Kayadu Lohar, Mohan Babu, Sonali Kulkarni and Raghav Juyal. Set in 1980s Secunderabad, the action drama follows Nani’s character as he leads a struggling community facing discrimination and fighting for citizenship.
The film has received mixed reactions since its release, but the response has not yet translated into a sharp drop in its opening weekend collections. With its worldwide gross crossing Rs 138 crore in four days, The Paradise will now look to sustain its momentum through the weekdays.
