A truck driver has died after he crashed into a tree while driving through a small town north of Gingin on Friday afternoon.
The crash happened about 2.05pm when a white Volvo prime mover and trailer travelling on Mogumber Road West near Brand Highway left the road and struck a tree.
WA Police said the 52-year-old male driver was critically injured during the crash and died at the scene.
Red Gully is a small town within the Shire of Gingin, about 96km from Perth, and has a recorded population of 33 residents.
