Faiz then climbed the 80-foot Jio tower and stood at its top, demanding that his wife return from her parental home. He refused to come down despite people at the spot trying to persuade him.
A crowd gathered at the site as bystanders attempted to convince Faiz to climb down. Someone recorded a video of him on the tower, and the video subsequently went viral on social media.
After the viral video brought the incident to the authorities’ attention, the police and fire department personnel reached the spot. They tried to persuade Faiz to come down and, after considerable efforts, managed to bring him safely down from the tower.
