The clip has been widely shared on social media, with users charmed by the politician’s relaxed interaction with the dog. Rather than a formal public appearance, the video captures a small, spontaneous moment between Gandhi and the sniffer dog.
Rahul Gandhi’s fondness for dogs is well known. Earlier this year, he also gave social media users a glimpse of his playful side while talking about his pet dog Noorie.
On August 7, the Congress leader took part in an Instagram Q&A, inviting questions from students and Gen Z users through an Instagram Story. During the interaction, he responded to a question about being a “dog parent” and shared a glimpse of his bond with Noorie.
His affection for dogs has featured in his public appearances and social media posts on several occasions, making the latest airport interaction feel familiar to those who have followed his love for his four-legged companions.
