Jetstar is giving away the return leg to some of Australia’s most-loved Asian destinations, with tens of thousands of fares up for grabs.
Australia’s budget airline has brought back it’s ‘return for free’ sale once again, this time with 14,000 return fares available as part of the sale.
For 72 hours, starting from Tuesday, travellers who buy a starter fare to Seoul Incheon Airport, Osaka Kansai Airport or Takyo Narita Airport can get their return starter fare free for select travel dates and flights between May 2027 and June 2027.
Club Jetstar members will be the first to access the deal with exclusive early access from midday AEDT on Tuesday.
The general public will be able to access free returns from midnight AEDT on Tuesday until Friday, October 9 at 11.59pm AEDT, unless sold out prior.
Included in the sale were great deals such as Cairns to Osaka from $449, Brisbane to Seoul from $469, Cairns to Tokyo from $479, and Sydney to Osaka from $569.
Jetstar executive manager Prue McKenzie said the ‘return for free’ sale was one of it’s most popular offerings.
“Japan and South Korea are two of our customers’ most-loved international holiday spots, and with the return flight free, travellers can make their holiday go a lot further,” Ms McKenzie said.

“We’re committed to helping more people takeoff more for less, and this sale makes those bucket-list trips to Asia even easier to say yes to.”
The Asian destinations, in particular Japan, have become increasingly popular with Australian tourists with more than one million Aussies visiting the country in 2025, according to the Japan National Tourism organisation.
Fares include one under seat carry-on bag, priority carry-on can be purchased subject to availability, checked bags are excluded.
Travellers can sign up for Club Jetstar membership for $65.
