Meghan Markle has offered a rare glimpse into life with her daughter Lilibet, sharing an adorable clip in which the five-year-old’s voice can be heard as the pair make jam together.

The intimate mother-daughter moment was included in a new video promoting the latest expansion of Meghan’s lifestyle brand As Ever, as she launches a series of festive hampers following her move to the UK.

Meghan and Prince Harry have largely kept their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, away from the public eye, making the brief exchange with Lilibet a particularly rare moment for royal watchers.

In the clip, Meghan turns to her daughter as they stir a batch of jam together.

“What do you think Lili?” Meghan asks.

“I think it’s beautiful,” Princess Lilibet replies, speaking with an American accent.

The moment was included alongside a collection of throwback photographs of Meghan as a young Girl Scout, with the Duchess using the launch to draw a connection between her childhood ambitions and her growing lifestyle business.

Meghan revealed her entrepreneurial streak began long before As Ever, recalling how she started her own tiny business when she was just eight years old.

“When I was about eight years old I started my own business making handmade scrunchies I sewed on my grandmother’s Singer sewing machine and sold for $1 a piece,” she began.

“I sold Girl Scout cookies, had lemonade stands, worked in a frozen yoghurt shop and had countless other jobs. My entrepreneurial spirit was always there.

“As I shared years ago on The Tig … ‘Behind every successful woman is herself’ – and that’s true … but there’s more: a community of love, a squad of support, an amazing team.

“As I pinch myself looking at how this brand has grown, and as we introduce our holiday collection, I feel very proud, and grateful.”

The appearance of Lilibet in the promotional video adds a personal touch to Meghan’s latest business push, with the Duchess increasingly weaving glimpses of her home and family life into the As Ever brand.

Meghan is offering three festive hampers ranging from $300 to $370, featuring products including peppermint and lemon-and-ginger teas, her famous jams, flower sprinkles and scented candles.

The launch also places Meghan’s Christmas offering alongside Buckingham Palace’s own festive range.

The Palace gift store has released a $133 Sweet Treats hamper featuring chocolate chip shortbread biscuits, clotted cream fudge, salted caramel chocolate, chocolate bars and a tin of hot chocolate.
