Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Thursday congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on completing 25 years in public service. He described PM Modi’s journey from Gujarat Chief Minister to Prime Minister as one marked by a resolve to build a developed and self-reliant India.
In a message posted on X, Dhami said PM Modi’s journey began on October 7, 2001, when he took charge as Gujarat Chief Minister, and had since continued with a focus on development and governance.

Dhami said that over the past 25 years, PM Modi had prioritised the welfare of the poor, women’s empowerment, youth development, modern infrastructure and the preservation of India’s cultural heritage.
He also highlighted PM Modi’s focus on ensuring that the benefits of development reach the last person in society, describing the commitment as an inspiration for others.
The Uttarakhand Chief Minister said the country was progressing across various sectors and achieving new milestones under PM Modi’s guidance.
He added that the Uttarakhand government was working with full commitment to make the state one of the leading states in the country, inspired by the Prime Minister’s vision and leadership.
Dhami extended his best wishes to PM Modi on completing 25 years in public service and wished him continued good health and a long life.
PM Modi has held a prominent public office since October 7, 2001, first serving as the Gujarat Chief Minister and later as Prime Minister starting in 2014.
He has since completed three terms as Prime Minister after the BJP-led NDA won the 2014, 2019 and 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
The BJP has organised the ‘Seva Jyoti Yatra’ in all states ruled by the party to mark the occasion.
