Bengali immigrant employee detained with Rs. 45K in heroin

In a raid on the Narsingi neighborhood of Gandipet on Thursday, the State Task Force of the Prohibition and Excise Department seized 15.49 grams of heroin worth Inr 45, 000 from a West Bengali immigrant employee.

During a seek function, Sujit, a 32-year-old regular worker, was detained. His hands of 15.49 grams of cocaine was recovered by authorities.

He claimed during questioning that he had obtained the medication from a man named MD Anurul. Anurul has been the subject of a legal action and a search has begun for him.

According to authorities, the think and the heroin that was seized were turned over to the Gandipet Excise Station for further research.
