A married woman in Rajasthan’s Alwar has accused a man of sexually assaulting her, pressuring her to convert her religion and repeatedly harassing her, including allegedly threatening her life. An FIR was registered after the woman approached a court, alleging that police had not taken action on her complaint.
The case was registered on October 22 following a court order. Police have started investigating the allegations.

WOMAN ALLEGES HARASSMENT, PRESSURE TO MARRY
According to the complaint, the woman alleged that Mausam Khan, a resident of Bajirka who is currently staying near Shivam Kanta, had been following her for a long time and repeatedly contacting her from different mobile numbers.
The woman, who said she is married and has two children, alleged that Khan was pressuring her to marry him and was also trying to force her to convert her religion.
She further alleged that the accused made two attempts on her life. According to her complaint, on October 20, he entered her house and tried to suffocate her by pressing a pillow over her face. She also alleged that he attacked her on the head with a stick.
WOMAN ALLEGES RAPE, BLACKMAIL
The woman also alleged that she had travelled to Delhi with the accused for some work. During the trip, she claimed, he sexually assaulted her inside a hotel room and recorded objectionable videos of her.
She alleged that the accused subsequently used the videos to blackmail her for six months.
The woman then approached the police and complained about the alleged incidents. However, she claimed that no immediate action was taken on her complaint.
FIR REGISTERED AFTER COURT INTERVENTION
After allegedly not receiving a response from the police, the woman approached the court and filed an application seeking action.
Following the court’s order, the police registered an FIR on October 22 and began an investigation into the allegations.
The woman has sought strict action against the accused and requested protection and justice from the police and administration. Police are now investigating the allegations made in the complaint.
