Thousands of people have hit the streets for ‘Australia’s most beautiful run’, with athletes from all over the globe taking part in one of Perth Running Festival’s four events.

Perth Running Festival Marathon (42.2km) – 6am
The 2026 Marathon is set to be the largest in Western Australia’s history, with runners tackling a scenic course past some of Perth’s most iconic landmarks, including Matagarup Bridge, Burswood Park, the CBD and the Swan River.

Perth Running Festival Half Marathon (21.1km) – 7.40am
Thousands of runners will put their endurance to the test in the popular half marathon, taking on a 21.1km course before crossing the finish line inside Optus Stadium.

Burswood Park 4km Dash – 8.45am
Runners of all ages and abilities will take part in the Burswood Park 4km Dash, with families, friends and fitness enthusiasts making their way through parklands before an epic Optus Stadium finish.

PerthNow 10km – 9.40am
The PerthNow 10km will see runners and walkers hit the pavement from Langley Park, taking in the views of the Swan River and Burswood Park before making their way to the finish line inside Optus Stadium.
