Police are investigating if shots were fired during a suspected road rage incident.
Emergency services rushed to Dawson St at Tullamarine, in Melbourne’s north, following reports two cars collided and gunshots were fired about 3.15pm on Wednesday.
Police believe a road rage incident involving people inside an Isuzu ute and a Hyundai SUV occurred before the collision.
A police spokesman said occupants inside the Hyundai dumped the car and fled the scene in a getaway vehicle.
People in the Isuzu made their way to the Broadmeadows Police Station.
“No injuries have been reported,” a spokesman said.
Police urged any witnesses or anyone with footage to contact Crime Stoppers.
