Jules and Lachie Neale have both revealed new tattoos on the same day, in a curious coincidence almost a year after their highly publicised marriage breakdown.

The estranged couple took to Instagram to share their latest ink on Monday.

Jules documented her visit to Myca Ink in Perth in a video shared with her followers.

“I did something so fun today I thought I’d film it and bring you along,” she said.

“I don’t know if this is classed as a mid-life crisis tat or not, but I’m going to say no.

“I went and got a matching tattoo with my baby brother today.

“We got this matching rose tattoo which symbolises growing through life together, which is pretty cute for siblings.”

Jules opted to have the rose tattooed on the inside of her arm after making a last-minute change to its placement.

She joked the experience was not such a big deal for her younger brother, who is already “covered in tats”.

And it appears the Perth influencer may have caught the tattoo bug, captioning her video: “cool I want ten more”.

Meanwhile, her estranged husband Lachie was also spotted getting fresh ink, with Brisbane studio Ten/Ten Tattoo sharing footage of the triple AFL premiership player preparing to update his existing tattoo.

The 33-year-old, who recently made the shock move to Collingwood, appeared in Instagram Stories shared by the studio showing tattooist Rhys Sharp measuring up stencils.

The Magpies recruit was seemingly looking to add the years “2025” and “2026” beneath his existing Brisbane Lions emblem and “2024” tattoo, commemorating the club’s three consecutive premierships.

Also among the stencils were cursive variations of the letter “F”, potentially a tribute to his young son Freddie, whom he shares with Jules, along with their daughter Piper.

Jules previously removed tribute to Lachie

The coincidental tattoo updates come just months after Jules documented the removal of a tattoo dedicated to her former partner.

In June, the mother-of-two shared footage of herself undergoing laser treatment to remove the letter “L” from her wrist.

The couple’s marriage unravelled in late 2025 following cheating allegations involving Lachie and family friend Tess Crosley.

Jules then returned to Western Australia with the couple’s two children.

Lachie already has several tattoos, including two swallows on his upper left arm.

“I wasn’t sure where I’d get them on my body, but I’ve wanted to get them for a while,” he told Grandstand AFL in 2023.

“It signifies home for me whether that’s my wife and daughter or my family back home in SA.

“Sailors used to get them when they were going out to sea to let their family know they were coming back home so that’s where the idea came from.”

The dual Brownlow medallist has now begun a new chapter at Collingwood after signing a three-year deal with the Magpies.
