Former Bachelor Sam Wood has suffered a major blow in his attempts to hide court documents from the public.
Mr Wood’s lawyers sought a non-publication order at Brisbane Supreme Court relating to domestic violence accusations facing the former reality show contestant.
The bid, if successful, would have prevented journalists from accessing documents which ordinarily are made readily available.
The ABC reports Supreme Court Justice Patrick McCafferty only opted to temporarily suppress names, addresses and identifying people named in the documents – not the complete documents.
The suppression also extends to the address Mr Wood would be living in if he was to be granted bail.
Mr Wood’s bail application is due to be heard at court next Friday.
More to come.
