On Saturday, October 24, Karnataka’s Minister for Minority Welfare, Wakf U T Khader, and Wakf U T Khader, warned the Hajj Committee to view the Supreme Court if flight companies from Mecca’s stranded Kannada-speaking travellers are stranded for two weeks.

After taking airlines operated by IndiGo, Akasa Air, and Air India Express, about 600 to 800 Kannadiga travellers are apparently stranded in Mecca. At a press conference, Khader stated that the travelers have even purchased return tickets, and that the flights that transported them are in charge of returning them.

” Flights from other nations continue to fly.”

He claimed that while service involving the three American carriers had not yet been resumed, flights operated by airlines from various nations were still running. He claimed that the flights had originally stated that flights do resume on October 24 but later changed the date to October 27.

We may approach the court through the Hajj Committee, according to Khader, if flight companies are suspended after two weeks.

He even expressed his concern that the Center hasn’t responded. Chief Minister D K Shivakumar wrote to the Union Civil Aviation Minister regarding the matter, but no response was received.

Khader stated that the Hajj Committee may file a lawsuit and demand compensation from the airlines for the pain and losses suffered by the stranded pilgrims. If the airlines don’t make arrangements for their profit within the allotted time, the commission will go to the Supreme Court, he continued.
